چکیده

Trissolcus japonicus (Ashmead) (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae) has shown promise as a biological control agent for the invasive agricultural and nuisance pest, Halyomorpha halys (Stål) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae). In addition to need laboratory research colonies, possibility rearing T. classical or augmentative releases necessitates investigation into efficient protocols with over timing of production. Cold storage is means slow insects’ metabolism cold temperatures can be used manipulate when how many parasitoids are available use. Conditions (i.e., temperature photoperiod), duration exposure cold, nutrition, age, sex all affect success regime. We tested these factors affected mortality, realized fertility females, progeny, development time cold-stored adult immature using previously frozen H. egg masses. Rearing at 8, 13, 18 °C (10:14 h L:D) significantly increased longevity compared 23 (16:8 L:D); however, females reared 8 °C, 10:14 L:D, we found sublethal effects on their progeny. Adults access food survived greater levels than those without food. high mortality immatures in ages conditions tested. Additionally, differences emergence from fresh eggs was assessed. This work compare costs benefits will assist forecasting after stored.

Attack and Success of Native and Exotic Parasitoids on Eggs of Halyomorpha halys in Three Maryland Habitats

Egg parasitoids of the exotic invasive brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål), were investigated using lab-reared fresh (live) and frozen (killed) lab-reared sentinel egg masses deployed for 72h on foliage in three habitats-woods, orchard, and soybean field-in Maryland, USA, in summer 2014. Four native hymenopteran species, Telenomus podisi Ashmead (Scelionidae), Trissolcus euschi...

An exotic parasitoid provides an invasional lifeline for native parasitoids

The introduction of an exotic species may alter food webs within the ecosystem and significantly affect the biodiversity of indigenous species at different trophic levels. It has been postulated that recent introduction of the brown marmorated stinkbug (Halyomorpha halys (Stål)) represents an evolutionary trap for native parasitoids, as they accept H. halys egg masses as a host but produce no v...

conditional copula-garch methods for value at risk of portfolio: the case of tehran stock exchange market

development of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
